The Comanche 42 was introduced in 1968 and the production line ran through 1970. Built by Chris Craft Industries of Pompano Beach, Florida, the boats were raced heavily, and successfully from the Great Lakes (winner Chicago-Mackinac Race of 1968), to California, Long Island Sound and beyond.
